The Mathematics Department of Merrill Community Schools would like to make parents/guardians aware that our 7^th – 9^th grade students will be introduced to a new math program starting this fall.

The calculators that we strongly recommend are the TI-84 (Texas Instrument 84) Silver Edition. The TI-84 is allowed to be used on MEAP, SAT, ACT, MME and national standardized tests.

Through our Regional REMC Department we can order the TI-84 Graphing Calculator for students for a total of $117.00. Right now there are all kinds of "Back to School" sales and you might be able to get a better price. Walmart is currently having a sale on this calculator for $90.00, we are not aware of when this sale ends.
